It's like this. Emo sucks, and underground hip hop sucks. They both suck. Emo people always look for something that will soothe their ever-tortured souls, and the gooniness of "underground hip hop" appeals to them because they can identify with the random bleeps and blorps strung together while spotty asthmatic white college boys from Minnetonka attempt to "rap" over the top. It's like friggin' Xiu Xiu. I would gouge my eyes out with a fork before I would listen to Xiu Xiu but all the college emo blog-o-nurds are on fire about them. The simple truth is, THEY SUCK. So does Emo. So does "underground hip hop." All of you ungrateful modern kids need to ditch your computers, work out, eat your vegetables, get real girlfriends and listen to TED F*CKING NUGENT. ALL DAY LONG. Then you would become MEN! REAL MEN!

I would say that emo is in the eye of the beholder... usually. I'm told quite often that I'm emo, and I need to get a life, but all I can see about me that may be emo is my haircut and black clothing.. Chances are, alot of those kids showing up at the concerts just dress "emo" but may not see themselves as emo. There is something called free-will that is allowed also. If an emo kid wants to watch underground hip-hop, he can, don't try to restrict his right too, and don't be judgemental about it. Just enjoy your show and ingnore the emo kids if you don't like them so much..
