Okay.... what's with all this Emo stuff????

I'm a little out of the loop.... maybe too old..... maybe too busy with kids... whatever. But I've seen references to Emo on myspace, here, well... all over the internet. Tell me who or what it is....... link me..... I want to get the damn jokes already. Thank-you!!

I understand where you're coming from, my mom is basically clueless to the teen styles/social classes. EMO is short for emotional. at an age of changing hormones and fighting to fit in, if ppl don't find a place in the social chain where they can fit in, then they often start to block out alot of the world around them and try to seek shelter inside their mind hoping somehow they'll find a friend. EMO kids usually wear kind of a mix of rocker/punk/goth clothing but not full strand to either one. like a typical emo kid would prolly have a black shirt sporting a heavy metal band or just skulls flames and stuff like that, dark colored jeans usually tight, wristbands to their elbows, spikey dyed hair, and other dark colored accessories. hope after you get through decoding all of my ramblings that this helps.

an emo is just a person who cuts him or her self tell they bleed to death
