i'm a hairdresser and most will know what an emo is. take a picture, some people dont like to but i promise the stylist much prefers it when you take one. its so hard to explain a cut to a stylist, atleast with a picture you cant go wrong. good luck!

I am a hairstylist and have no idea what an emo style is.Your best bet %26amp; your barber will appreciate it ,is to bring a picture of the style. Everyone has different names %26amp; ideas of what a style is but a picture never differs.

search pictures. Take in a picture of someone in a band or something. Most stylist know what an emo hairstyle is.

search pictures on photobucket.com (its way better than google) and then show the picture to your hairdresser
maybe get highlights in it...or try a scene-ish hairstyle, theyre a lot like emo but for more 16-19 year olds if you get my drift lol
