I'm switching back to a school I went to last year in March and my friend showed me this one kid's myspace. He think's he's gone "emo." His aim is emoboy and i think that's the most idiotic thing I've ever heard! He refers to himself as 'emo' all the time! It's too obvious he's a poser. How can I tell him off?

who has the right to say who is and who isn't? would it really affect your life? how do you think he would feel? i really hate it when people do that, but god! what is wrong with you?! People always say i'm emo and there are posers at my school to but I just laugh along, it doesn't matter whether he is a poser or not, just leave it alone. But seriously why would u want to tell someone off just cause they're pretneding to be emo. In other scenarios, there are posers out there, he is just another one of them.

OK so i see your point(obviously no one else does) even though you really shouldn't care come one this is real life and you do! don't be rude just tell him he was alot better before he went creepy. tell him that you dont like him like that. if you never liked him then the best thing to do is not say anything

Just leave him alone if he want everybody thinking he is emo let him okay he might be troubled and that is the only way he can express it. Just try to befriend him get to know him and ask him why he calls himself emo please don't tell him off it won't do you any good or him. Just think about it. Why do you want to tell him off and how will it benefit you?. Is his being emo troubling you in any way? Is he bothering you in anyway? So why would you want to bother him by telling him off. I don't want this to sound mean i am just saying how i see it. Also my classmate is emo and everyone is always asking him why he is emo and why he dresses Gothic. It really gets to me because no one is bothering them about how they dress or how they act so why would they bother someone else. So i hope i helped and i hope you will rethink you decision.
