I think emo and metal should ever be mixed. Sorrow and anger just don't mix.

As for his bass playing, it could use a bit of work.

Um... His bass has a really bad tone to it. No offense to him but it almost sounds computer generated.

-3 for the bass playing. He's rubbish. I find it specially amusing that he can't keep decent time, since I can clearly hear the original song playing in the background.

Your friend's band should give it up and get real jobs. They make me feel better about my own guitar playing - there's a lot I can't do, but I play better than your friend.

I hope hes not trying to pass that off as rage.

Hes got potential, but not bandworthy yet.There was no flow to that, it sounded like he just started playing and dident know the song well.

It's awful, the tone and sound is awful and he can't keep proper timing.

FYI, let your friend know he needs to practice more before he records and puts songs up on myspace, and relatively easy songs at that. Sorry, just being honest.
